Rightio, once again pretty sure nobody reads these, but I dont like to leave things outdated.

Ive started doing some photoshoots in my own home, which as you can see from my last few updates, they are coming out pretty damn awesome! :)

I now should be getting my new camera over the weekend too! So taking a trip to london to pick it up, then hopefully I should come back with a Nikon D80 with some random extras, so hopefully this will help my photography a little too, mainly with the option of buying different lenses, as with the d6 im pretty damn limited at the mo.

What else?! Errrm hopefully should be getting a lot more web design work coming in.
So if any of you lot out there need a web designer (or photographer), feel free to get in touch with me via email or my website:

I think thats enough for now anyway, and a big thanks to everybody that views my work and for any comments/faves that you have given my work. Really appreciated.

Right,
I dont often post any updates on here, as im pretty sure nobody reads them, but if you do, feel free to leave a comment on my profile or on some of my photos. All critique is welcome!

Anyway, I rarely have any spare money to spend on photography, so I managed to get a 55-200mm Lens for my D60, I bought this intended for sports photography, but I tried using at my latest photoshoot today and the results were awesome. By standing far back enough and zooming right in its a great way to blur out the background completly.

So with this new lens, and other bits and bobs on there way, Im looking forward to taking lots of new photos!!

Remember!
All critique is welcome!

Thanks,
Mike

Finally got a new camera... So now I have a brand new Nikon D60!

Really pleased with it, already got some great images with it and hopefully it will last me a long time too.

Already done a shoot for some local bands with it, but it was my first time using it and I messed the settings up :(

But I took some arty farty type flower and landscape pictures and ive got to say, im actually impressed with my own work. Only a small amount of editing needed, which is just brightening the grass and making the colours more vibrant really.

Overall, really good camera and not found any faults so far :)

Well...

Its about time I updated my gallery here! Been a bit busy taking photos :)

Im now taking more photos of models and the only thing holding me back from better photos is my equipment!! :( I have a low end digital slr, which is fine, but what im really after is portable lighting and stuff! Thats next thing for me to buy when I have spare money.

Anyway, would love to get some feedback into my latest pictures ive taken.
And please look at my modelling photos from a photography point of view and not in any sexual way.

FInally got round to doing a shoot for a local band called 'CryGirlCry'.

It was a freezing cold night, and it was unbeleivable how tired I was before I even managed to get to the shoot.

Regardless of how half-arsed I was at the shoot, I got some amazing results that im really pleased with. Some of my best work yet :) So comments are welcome and constructive crit. please :)

Also, got in touch with a friend who is interested in becoming a model. Said I would be her regular photographer for her to gain more confidence, and for me to gain more experience shooting models. And it gives me chance to try new idea's with her.

Ive posted a couple of pictures from that shoot with her, there are too many to post them all up, but you can see them all on my myspace at:

So overall, ive been ill all week. But got some amazing photos that im pleased with :)
